why? Because he gets on base 50 pts higher & scores more runs than Soriano? The main measure of a leadoff hitter is runs scored. With 76 last year, he was near the bottom in MLB in runs scored for leadoff hitters. Why? Because he does not have a leadoff mentality at the plate. He has more of an rbi producing mentality. also because he missed 53 games

I will never understand the internet phenomenon of a guy who yells really loud calling basketball games. that's cause you're an old white man Bill Simmons is older and whiter and he started this whole thing. As an aside, it was a year or two ago that I first learned Gus was black. I'd heard his voice calling Knicks games in the background. i was stunned too, but i think it's because i don't think of gus as a black guy's name
