    How much does the college football playoff or whatever it is lengthen their season? i guess it could have something to do with that, too.

    It'd be fascinating and frustrating to construct a team there. I'd have to agree that this would seem like the most sensible approach. Related to Gray in Colorado, does anyone know if Coors has a measurable effect on velocity? i've linked to it before, but this is still the best study i've seen on the effects of Coors' thin air: http://wooden-feather.com/?p=33 I wonder if that's why "just get a bunch of ground ball pitchers and some good defense" hasn't been a viable practice there

    Honestly, I'm going to be really happy with any of the guys we are likely to get at this point. I know exactly how it will play out for me. I'll settle on one of the top three guys, we'll draft someone else and I'll try to talk myself into it before reading Hoyer and Epstein's quotes, and totally buying in.
