  1. that's awesome. we're hitting something like .190 in the playoffs so far, but thank god roberts decided to walk heyward and coghlan last night and the guy who's so crippled he almost didn't make the roster hit a bomb drunk and trolling, IMO are you pissy because im being negative or are you pissy because you feel the same way you just dont want to be bitched at for admitting it
  2. Hill has struggled in the playoffs and urias has only thrown a couple of innings. their sample is much smaller than the 202 at bats our offense has faltered through so far.
  3. the offense has been propped up by some incredible clutch late-inning horsefeathers. Has anyone felt positive about Arrieta the last few months? Lackey? The way the offense has performed this offseason filled you with confidence even before Kershaw took the mound? Now we're going on the road. Talk horsefeathers about Hill if you want, but go look at his bb ref page for the last two seasons and tell me you feel confident about game 3. What about anyone other than Kershaw , Seager, and Gonzalez makes you soo [expletive] scared. Rich Hill is a good pitcher, who also walks a lot of batters rich hill walked 1.3/9 as a dodger

Hitting home runs in the 8th and 9th counts just as much as hitting them in the 2nd and 3rd. Arrieta had a good start in SF, has done well against this Dodger team, and to reiterate, the Dodgers have not hit for crap thus far in the series. that's awesome. we're hitting something like .190 in the playoffs so far, but thank god roberts decided to walk heyward and coghlan last night and the guy who's so crippled he almost didn't make the roster hit a bomb
  5. What was the team OPS in those four games Jesus if we're going to go full on Pete Rose here and just buy into super small sample sizes, going into tonight the Cubs had a .686 OPS and the Dodgers had a .698. But yeah, just write this team off based on the best pitcher in the last twenty years shutting us down. the offense has been propped up by some incredible clutch late-inning horsefeathers. 6. I don't think we can count on 9th inning grand slams going forward. This offense has been bad the entire postseason The previous four games were 5-5-6-8, runs wise. Not abysmal. But definitely not where it should be. Russell has to be moved out of the five spot. Having two hitters who are slumping badly back to back in the middle of your lineup can't continue. What was the team OPS in those four games
  7. How do you feel about arietta and lackey right now? Real confident? Then we'd get Kershaw in LA in game 5. It's likely we take one of those games but if someone gave me odds we go 0-3 in LA I would definitely take it what odds do you want? Wouldn't take much given how bad jake and lackey have been, combined with our struggling offense going into a cavernous ballpark.
  8. Good point; it's been a whole 24 hours since they scored 8. I don't think we can count on 9th inning grand slams going forward. This offense has been bad the entire postseason
  9. Not sure if being pessimistic or optimistic. Gonna guess based on the poster optimistic How do you feel about arietta and lackey right now? Real confident? Then we'd get Kershaw in LA in game 5. 10. Do you ever make it through the day without breaking down in tears? Do you ever leave your parents house and go outside?
  11. i would bet a lot of money that we dont come back from LA
  12. id rather use wood here and save chapman's bullets for when we actually need him. it's not like he's been airtight this offseason anyway
  13. yeah he could go for a 4-inning save if we're just gonna see 9 pitches an inning
  14. would be great if these fans would stop losing their minds on 200 foot flyballs
  15. theres no way some of those low outside FB are strikes
  16. if we get lucky we might pitchcount kershaw out just in time to face the best closer in the NL
  17. man he has KB's heat map figured the horsefeathers out
  18. Baez's instincts are correct 100 percent of the time
  19. considering they have the best pitcher on the planet throwing a perfect game ... i doubt that
