I'd rather listen to Joe Buck than Barstool. Joe Buck has been fine. Smoltz is rather dumb though. Smoltz just cant get out of his own way. Last night he was in the third inning like "the cubs offense is firing right now because of schwarber who really lengthens the lineup!" except schwarber saw all of one pitch in the three-run first inning. then he was like "there's no one in the bullpen so it looks like the cubs are sticking with chapman" as the camera showed two guys getting up in the cubs bullpen.

Potentially being absolutely knackered without coke is still probably just as dangerous, if not more. Not saying the coke wasn't playing a part, but we all know the dangers of what alcohol can do on its own and its not pretty. how the horsefeathers could just being drunk but not coke be more dangerous? That is ridiculous. he called getting drunk "being absolutely knackered" so i think we can just go ahead and ignore his perspective on this "what does it feel like to be drunk and on coke at the same time?" "oh its uhh feels like big bags of sand"

it's crazy that down 3-1, we were like "well you can see how this could actually happen and get us to game 7" and here we are, it played out exactly as we expected. Kluber was throwing the 2-seamer in game 1, and the cutter in game 4, so we've seen everything he's got.

wouldn't this be closer to coming home with Lackey and Hammel on short rest after Lester and Arrieta went to the DL last month? i wouldn't compare kluber to either one of those guys

I realized today that since the Indians' streak of no world series championships is hella long too, their fans must be secretly stressing right now. Imagine if we went up 3-1 to a superior (even if just slightly) team, then failed to close out in Game 5 then came home with arrieta and lester on short rest? I'd be pretty confident on the outside but internally id be freaking out.

yeah, he looked exactly like hendricks in that start against us. He was amazing. I think we can get to him though on such short rest. I hope.
