Couldn't agree with u more.....Garvey and Carter both same phony smile...maybe they are related somehow.....wouldnt be surprised.

I am new to this site but would certainly like to host a game day thread. I was 6-2 on Cub games attended at Wrigley last year. I'm going to 10 this summer as well as the Cleveland series and one game in Cincy & one in Pitt. I totally understand though if rookies (new posters) are not allowed to host. Just thot I would try. Great site by the way !!

I'm pretty happy as well as to how the off season has gone. I'm not sure I like all these pre-season mags picking the Cubs so high though. I just picked up LINDY'S 06 preview and it has the Cubs winning the division. Street and Smith has them in 2nd place. It seems like every time expectations are so high in Feb. they totally crater by June. Anyhow, I'm cautiously optimistic as always and have started icing my right shoulder to "try" to help Kerry Wood stay healthy.
