    I'm so glad Sweeney's gone. Have any of you guys checked out Jason Motte's twitter? What an awesome and humble person. He's slowly winning me over. Lot of quality guys on the roster this year....not to mention the two cancer survivors.

    If there is one (very small) negative this season so far, it's that I miss ol' bat flip Valbuena. Two HR's for him today, at least he's doing well. I'd have loved to have him as a bench/utility IF guy this year.

    Nothing angered me more the last few years than meatball comments about Starlin. I've unequivocally defended him since day one. Most hits of any SS since 2010, already has a 200 hit season....I know he's had defensive lapses but he was just a kid. He still IS a kid. He deserves to be here when we win. I know he's not a Theo/Jed guy but man do I hope he sticks around, I love him.
