this has been a very wierd game, lucky with the ward assist and fonzie taking out pierre at home, terribly unlucky with jacque and dero hitting the ball hard right to someone with guys on base.

Im just throwing this out, I wonder what everyone thought. Probably just because of his injury problems, but Larry Walker is one the best player, healthy, I have seen play. I just kind of think no one will be talking about him 20 years from today, but not only was he an amazing hitter, but he was an outstanding outfielder with a rocket arm.

*Groans* Pretty much what I figured. Don't look for the Cubs to do anything this offseason. 2008 is going to be a crappy year. Not necessarily. It will be a lot like this year because most of the roster is locked up. We might not be much better, but fortunately the division shouldn't be a lot better either. I think its the Brewers division to win next year. Considering their best players are under 26 years old.

Should be yeah. K-State should be decent but not great. I'm not expecting much out of Iowa State and Kansas, and I have no idea what to expect out of Colorado this year. KU will be in the top 3 in the North. And we always have a shot at beating you clowns. so they'll be third in the North? We'll beat Nebraska at home. If we played you in Lawrence and not KC, I'd bet on us against you, too. We're not that much worse than Mizzou, and our coach isn't an idiot of epic proportions. The Big XII north is weak enough where we have a chance to compete. What does KU bring back this year? I know the RB(lost his name, the Canadian) graduated, but that's as far as I go since I'm separated from my copy of Phil Steele's Preview at the moment. Im glad Phil Steele has caught on, buying his book last year changed my life.
