With this kind of rain and slippery ground, the Phillies wouldn't want to risk their best pitcher slipping and falling down or anything else like that. They "risked" him for 8 innings.

That's too bad. Lloyd was someone I was really cheering for. Maybe an Illini homer (I am), but I hope it isn't something that puts him on the shelf for too long.
