Suddenly my fears of Bob Bradley have come back. They looked under prepared and motived for much of the game, the lineup looked weak, and showed nothing until the Jozy and Torres came in to play. I liked the interview from Jose "The Mouth" Mourinho.

I don't think he would, and I am not sure the Brewers would want to give up Gamel or others for him. Peavy won't have the same impact that Sabathia had and the amount of prospects they would have unloaded in two years would be massive.

That was rude to not let Andy have this one. Good point, I'm sorry. God, that was fun. Jarrett and Green were on the team that went 24-7 two years ago and went to the WNIT, and I know how sweet that must've been for them. I'm still digesting that. And dew, Tennessee had never missed the Sweet 16. :D Not just Sweet 16 but the 2nd round all together.

I'm sure a good business man isn't going to increase payroll until the deal is finalized. As for when the Cubs go after Peavy, I'm sure a lot will depend on other factors (Harden's health, Marshall's success, etc.). Waiting for the trade deadline could get complicated if the Padres get Peavy to agree to include other teams in his waiver of a NTC. If Marshall has success he will likely go to the Padres for Peavy. Hopefully he pitches real well and the Padres won't ask for 8 players this time around.

That does seem to happen a lot. Barca and Bayern will be great, Arsenal will have their hands full, and I think Liverpool will go over Chelsea. At least I hope.

Seattle had a very nice crowd on hand today. Hopefully they can maintain it throughout the season. Not to mention a 3-0 win in their debut.
