    Really hope they don't extend him so the Cubs have a shot in the offseason. If he does get extended who does that leave this offseason? Cueto, Gallardo, Kazmir, Kennedy, Lackey, Latos, Samardzija, Zimmerman Still some good names out there, but a lot less sexy without price I'd be really surprised if the Jays ended up extending Price, especially before he hits the market. While it is kinda disappointing to see so many big names elsewhere, I can say I'm happy the Cubs didn't beat the prices paid for Hamels and Price so far. Agreed, I would rather take my chances in the offseason.
