I will take Fox over NBC, but I agree ESPN has been the best so far. Fox must be shelling out some dough to beat ESPN in both Champs League and now the WC. Maybe ESPN will have money to spend on a 24/7 soccer channel in the US now.

They've claimed they have no interest. That could be posturing, though. Or trying to avoid tampering. I heard the exact opposite, though that could be dependent on if Wilson resigns or not.

Rumors have also indicated the Rangers are going to be pitcher crazy this offseason too. I think Wilson will be their top priority, though they could be a surprise suitor for either Pujols or Fielder. If CC hits the market he will be their #1 priority. He is exactly what Nolan Ryan wants in a pitcher.

I love the turn around Ricketts has pulled on everyone from a year ago or even a couple of months ago. I feel like we have a top 3-5 owner in the game now. The dude has a massive set and is not afraid to slap you around with them.

Well, you're ignoring Landry Jones this year and Tyler Bray and Aaron Murray next year. Whether or not Palmer was elite a few years ago matters not now. The Raiders aren't getting Palmer from his heyday and even if they captured lightning in a bottle with him, they significantly overpaid. Landry Jones isn't going to do dick in the NFL I dont get it either. Throwing 19 screen passes a game doesn't work in the nfl Jones is going to kill it in NFL. At least I hope that's what he thinks and gets his ass out of Norman after this season.

Throw some weight on him and I like him alot. Still not a QB I would fall over myself to draft...there's one of those in the college game right now and he's not going to be a Raider. He's listed at 220. Not sure if its accurate, but for 6'2" given his athleticism that's plenty of weight.

Better that what they got currently, but overpaid in a way that Al Davis would have been proud. If Mike Brown turned that down he deserves to be forever banned from football. Of course most Bengals fans would argue that he already does.

I'm guessing Fielder will have an opt out as well to secure his final contract the same way CC will. I'll take either one and will be happy either way.

There is really nothing out there that's like the Cubs job and he'll know we tried but Boston was trying to rob us blind. If he wants to come now he'll want to come in a year. I dont think it'll go down like that I think eventually Boston will just take what it can get. But is McNutt robbing us blind? Blind, no. Over paying, yes. And losing a potentially valuable piece towards the 2013 season. I'm glad he is holding out.

In the off chance the Cards win the WS, I would like for this announcement and press conference to come 10 minutes after they win. Have Theo hold a blank check with Pujols name on it.

Yet Boston has no manager, and not sure which GM will make that hire either. Its in their best interest to get this done soon too just to be able to move on. Nevermind, Cherrington can just make that hire. Isn't MLB also watching this just in regards as to what compensation is going to look like for a GM?

Maybe PSV for 2 years then off again. I think he would be fine in England but I don't want him going to Chelsea just yet. Screw going to West Ham. Athletico I could be interested in see him go to. Just read that the foreign owners in the EPL want to scrap the relegation system. Screw that too.

But Samardzija did become way better at baseball. I'm starting to become convinced that maybe 5 people noticed this.
