  1. Enough prospects to get Kemp? Kemp requires actual prospects?
  2. Haven't gotten to watch him up close, but if he's regressed it hasn't shown in the numbers. 2014 A IP 100.2 K/9 7.06 BB/9 2.77 HR/9 0.18 BABIP .239 ERA 1.88 FIP 3.28 2015 A+ IP - 94.2 K/9 7.51 BB/9 2.66 HR/9 0.00 BABIP .291 ERA 2.09 FIP 2.53 He's undersized, so maybe he's not holding his velocity deep into games or something. I really don't get it and absolutely hate this trade.
  3. Stanton has been on the DL over a month now and still leads the NL in home runs.
  4. The Brewers are 24-8 over their last 32, including a 15 game win streak in late June/early July. And they've been hitting the [expletive] out of the ball over that stretch. Kind of boggles the mind that even after that, they're still 19.5 back in the division/10 in the WC. Their 23-39 start to the season doomed them by June, but that's mostly because they never seemed to have more than 2 of their starters healthy at the same time over that stretch. No idea where you're getting your numbers but they didn't go 24-8 over their last 32 (it's 18-14), they didn't have a 15 game winning streak (it was 8) and not only were they never 23-39, but 16 game under .500 wasn't even their low point (it was 25-46, after which they're 17-8).
  5. You do realize Grichuk hit 25 homeruns in Triple A last year at age 22, and 22 home runs the year prior in Double A, right? Him coming up and hitting some dingers really isn't all that surprising nor would I expect it to stop. always been a streaky hitter, that doesn't get on base but has a lot of power. I love what he's doing, but he's really just an athletic Mark Trumbo (with worse peripherals actually) on a heater with an unsustainable BABIP. Some value there for a bit, but not a starting quality player over the long haul.
  6. Jason Motte is a Proven World Series Closer™
  7. Cardinals: 1. Pham - CF 2. Carpenter - 2B 3. Peralta - SS 4. Heyward - RF 5. Molina - C 6. Reynolds - 3B 7. Grichuk - LF 8. Johnson - 1B 9. Wacha - P may god have mercy on your souls
  8. Cardinals called up Dan Johnson. You guys should be quivering in fear.
  9. Do you want ants? Because that's how you get ants.
  10. He's gone. Honestly, I don't go into game threads a ton these days, and it appears that's where he posted mostly. Only saw it this time cuz someone reported the post. I thought we were going to become great friends
  11. He's a weirdo Cardinal fan who posts the same shitty polls to every decent message board for NL Central teams. It's bizarre.
  12. You should pm downsr30. He is very baseball knowledgeable and successful in life.

  17. He wasn't scouting director at the time, but yeah, a bit higher up the chain than I expected.
  18. Bobby Bonilla's bank account gets $1,193,248.20 fatter today. Nice work Mets.
