    I'm no expert but I would say that he has plus speed. Above average but not in Pie territory. Ugh...another guy rambling on about the off$eason.

    I hope so. Last year Aramis mashed the ball in spring only to get off to that horrendous start. I don't know what was more annoying, the fact that he got off to such a bad start or all of the "he didn't hit when it actually mattered!" grumbling that inevitably followed. The absence of Lee in the lineup contributed to the slow starts of Aramis and Jones IMO.

    Hawk, DJ & Sox marketing man Brooks Boyer Really? They aren't pissing me off as much as I remember from last year. Maybe they're waiting for the regular season. The are playing nice-nice because they want that Cubs cross-over cash. Boyer was promoting a game at the Cell with Sammy Sosa in April... I was thinking the same thing. They have done some nice things in the cell, unfortunately they have the area surrounding the park that fans have to deal with. All the cool stuff inside doesn't do squat if your fans gotta dodge bullets on the way to their car.

    I really don't think that Miller would bring much in a trade. Might be better off having him start the season in the rotation then trading him at the deadline if he's doing well.

    The guy that hawk and dj were interviewing (marketing guy or something like that) mentioned that something happened between the wsox and Vicente Padilla. Anyone know what that was/is?

    To his credit, the sox hit some good pitches. They were very timely hits with men on base. No K's though which is worrisome. His defense didn't do him any favors either. Theriot looks like a matador over there. But he was getting hit. He drilled Iguchi and wasn't able to wiggle off the hook.

    I want to say this for the record, when things go bad for the wsox during Ozzie's tenure (and they will, maybe this maybe next year maybe some other year) he will be the first one to throw everyone else under the bus. Ozzie Guillen == 1 classless loser
