  1. Hector Luna "Tic" with an rbi double Like I said, Novoa makes me nervous.
  2. May be a carryover from last year, but Novoa makes me nervous everytime he takes the hill.
  3. Give: Ramirez starts the year slowly. BeerPrediction: He starts hitting a little, some singles an occasional xbh. May arrives and some of those singles are now double's. June arrives and the ball is jumping off his bat.
  4. I like Cedeno I remember questioning out loud when Ronny wasw put on the 40 man a couple years ago. BeerHere = 1 fool
  5. Uh no! No Gooz today please. I want our experienced quality bullpen people today. If they blow the lead at least do it with the best. Seconded
  6. Single for Maddux so I guess he's continuing.
  7. MadDog with 86 pitches, maybe 1 more inning? Dusty should get the pen ready either way. Can't let this one slip away.
  8. I love the Cubs and have my entire life. So has everyone in my family. However, if Wirtz buys the team, I'm done. Wirtz has single-handedly killed the once-proud Chicago Blackhawks franchise. He'd kill the Cubs too. I doubt it's possible for any owner to hate his fans more than Wirtz. Cuban? I'd give a nut to have him as the owner of the Cubs, possibly both.
  9. But Jones is outhitting ARam.
  10. I was in and out, but it seemed like he was missing with the offspeed stuff mostly.
  11. Rest in peace Oscar. My heart goes out to the families.
  12. meh Sucks that Dusty had to use him in a tight game. It would have much better if his first appearance was in a blowout. Slack cut
  13. With the DLee and Eyre injuries it seems lik,e everyone is overlooking Aardsma. He looked terrible last night, totally reminding me of Wuertz with his lack of control. 2/3rd of an inning 1 hit 3 walks 2 earned runs Way too Wuertz-esque
  14. He faded somewhat in the second half last year, I hope he works on his conditioning and continues to pitch well. I like this kid.
  15. Time to rally the troops. Hopefulle DLee is ok, but good teams overcome these types of things. This is a good time for ARam and Barrett to step up.
  16. Welcome aboard! Welcome a board?
