    What he did in a Cubs uniform is an afterthought for me at this point. Is it me, or does it seem like every fan favorite that leaves the Cubs does so in a similar "bitter" manner? Sammy, Grace, Stony, Brickhouse, others? Why can't people just leave without the need to be tarnished, or tarnishing? It makes me sick, it really does.

I don't know why Cleveland should want any part of Izturis. i think they do need a ss some say they're going to sign Belliard back I doubt they give up on Peralta, I think he just signed a deal last winter.

    If this situation ends up with Izzy gone and TheRiot at short then I think it's a good move. If the middle infield is Izzy and DeRosa then I pissed, that would require a HUGE boost in production from the OF and I don't see that coming thus far. That would be awsome right there..both good with OBP...Get rid of Izzy.. maybe it's a prelude to sending izzy to cleveland with prospects for westbrook. Someone cue MC Hammer..... THAT'S WHY WE PRAY!!!!

    I wonder if TheRiot can play CF????? Gut feeling tells me that Murton and Moore are trade bait this winter. Hendry is going after Soriano or Drew or Lee and if Jones in RF Murton isn't playing CF.

    Let's hope he's more of an athlete and less of a doctor than Craig Krenzel. Craig Krenzel was exactly 0 parts athlete. Does simply STUDYING to be a doctor make one smart? I'm not saying he's not smart, but it seems to me that merely studying to be a doctor doesn't prove intelligence. It's simply an undgrad major. You don't have to be accepted to medschool or anything. What matters is how well he does in those classes, not the subject he's studying. Now back to the subject: DV rocks! Nope I've met plenty of physicians that are morons I dated a doctor and I definitely STUDIED her physiology. Does that make me smart? Wait.....don't answer that question.

    I was hammered. :oops: Halloween party. Waaaay too many jeager bombs (sp?) and Dos Equis. I went as a dog (I was also wearing a Cubs hat) and took a lot of crap from a card fan also in attendance. He was obnoxious and probably never figured out how a cigarette butt ended up in his beer.

    Why am I a cubs again?? Cards won the series Sox win it last year Cubs were terrible on 2006 with little hope other than a bigger pay role in 2007 Why am I fan again?
