    Sucks to be Cynosure, Ovechkin hurts Avery in the last minute, then advances. federov got avery's knee, not ovechkin. although the way ovechkin is allowed to charge/board at will he will probably injure a good amount of people in his career

They get an extra day of rest when they come home (both sunday and monday off). Makes sense. Also, this sets up game 5 for Saturday as well in Vancouver, which should make CBC happy.

    Last night after the Canes game, the guys on versus said that they would show the entire hawks game, then pickup SJ/ANA. Yah, Saturday sucked. Only got to see the first hour on versus, the rest of the game was blacked out.

    Nah.... Avery was a [expletive] idiot there... inexcusable penalty. I can't even stick up for him for that... you can't highstick someone being up 2-1 in the playoffs with 3 minutes left. the high stick was a pretty weak call to make at that point in the 3rd. capitals did a good of selling both calls though.

    I get the feeling Tortello may scratch Avery...I just watch the highlights of that sequence and wow. I am not sure what to make of Avery and his antics. They are not intent to injure or anything like that. I wonder what would have happened of Erskine didnt step in? Varlamov doesnt speak English and seemed like he didnt care. i guarantee you avery won't be scratched. i guess avery will have to research a few of the more obscene russian curse words, as well as varlamov's family members names or something to be effective on him

    The best part of that scrum was Buff holding one flame in a headlock, and another by the jersey/shoulderpads. Guy is just massive and strong as a bull.
