First, I read O'Sullivan's article a few days ago and it was chilling. His father was/is just a psycho criminal. I grew up playing hockey and saw a lot of pressure on kids -- makes you wonder what you didn't see and how bad it got. For my part, I think my Dad knew there was no point in pushing that hard -- I wasn't showing any particular talent. Scares me as I think about putting my young son in skates. Will just try to have the perspective my Dad had. In the end, it just goes back to this -- there are a ton of idiots out there, and they breed. A lot.

I read a few things from Pens fans applauding the move. Granted they are disgruntled at the moment, but they seem to hate Scuderi. Scuderi is old and slow but the Pens are paying part of his salary. This move likely doesn't help the Hawks very much unless they actually find a 2nd pairing guy to play opposite Seabrook. It does give them an extra ~1.3 million to play with. If they traded Shaw with a $2 mildo cap cap that puts them in the ballpark of actually being able to get somebody. Shaw is a fan favorite but he makes too much money for what he does. Someone will overpay for Shaw. Lead them to water, Stan.

Yeah they were never as bad as they played in those games after that crushing Denver loss. That remaining schedule is cake too. If they beat Oakland on the road this week they'll run the table. Only other road game is Baltimore.

Owning Anaheim is almost as fun as owning Vancouver used to be. That was fantastic.

typical lurchy backup. good arm, but statuesque with happy feet. Kubiak will give him one read and a running back outlet. the bears will have a lot of pass defenses That's a good summary. I watched him the second half on Sunday -- he definitely made some good throws, though the Chiefs DBs were playing back. Went the pocket collapsed he got to tap-dancing quickly.

Another loss that probably shouldn't have happened last night. Haven't been able to watch much so far this year, but it seems like Panarin is a player. And I'm sure the league loves that Kane is probably favorite for the Hart at this point.
