  1. Terrible penalty but the meatball in me says there was no penalty on the cross check to his neck after the goal earlier and that horsefeathers happens all the time.
  2. I can't even imagine how bad Ehrhoff would be at this point. The guy looked like a junior player at times in the regular season.
  3. That was a great passing play. Hard to blame the PK for that.
  4. Figures. Should have won by then. Too many blown chances.
  5. Man did we have to do this already?
  6. Not that it matters much but that ending last night sucked. Bad break, tough rebound for Darling to control on the tying goal. No big deal, considering they were down Shaw, Hoss, Keith and Crow, it's cool. Notably the Blues didn't goon quite as much last night in the parts I was able to see. The one run Reaves took, Desjardin (I think) took it to him pretty good.
  7. Jesus. Woodshed.
  8. Ehrhoff is horrendously bad.
  9. Yeah agree on the irresponsible part. He was turning that way to get up and had to swing that arm around but stick didn't need to be that high. He's automatically suspended one game I think.
  10. Match penalty for Keith wow. Arguably intentional. I don't know.
  11. Well if you can move Bickell and Shaw that would solve that problem. I was queasy about Crow's contract at the time, but given today's market and his play, it's a very fair deal. Also, Kane is free like OJ. Again. [tweet] [/tweet]
  12. Yeah, not pleased with the term/dollars but like keeping him obviously. Feels like the Crawford deal. I assume it was necessary, but don't really know at this point.
  13. Now that the dust has settled, I wish they'd beefed up the defense. Ehrhoff doesn't count. Apparently they were in on Hamhuis at the last minute but couldn't make it work.
  14. I haven't seen an explanation. So, Toews wades into (what shouldn't be) controversial territory: [tweet] [/tweet] And I fully expect this will get him in more hot water with Hawks fans than Kane's escapades last summer did.
  15. It's good to get a reminder of playoff hockey so we don't all stroke out in game 1.
  16. That was a great game.
  17. Wow, I haven't looked at the salaries yet but Stan ain't messing around. Wiese plays with an edge too, gotta figure Q wants that for the springtime.
  18. That's classic. I guess it works out to leave about $1.5M in cap space for D depth. Brilliant.
  19. There seems to be quite a bit of disagreement out there on whether Stan should get a winger for Toews or a veteran d-man as you suggest. I'm really on the fence here. Tough. http://blogs.theprovince.com/2016/02/25/possible-canucks-trade-with-chicago-has-legs/ Just saw this article. Two birds...
  20. "When the press release came across my computer, I thought it was a mistake. Now I wonder if Cubs are making a trade." Phil Rogers tweet I unsuccessfully tried to embed. WTF Rogers.
  21. 1 year, $15 million. Don't even care.
  22. This is so great.
  23. The horsefeathers, Twitter is saying a one year deal with the Cubs. I thought he signed with Baltimore?
  24. The conspiracy theorist in me says this is a 'make up deal' for ripping off Beane so badly last time. The thought went through my mind...
