  1. What dominance. It's got to be a great feeling to have the home fans booing their team.
  2. Foley is great. "He turned the defenseman into a turnstile!"
  3. Wow, I posted earlier in the NHL thread that Perron had scored the goal of the year earlier tonight. Kane's wasn't as good, but they'll both make Sportscenter.
  4. Wow I don't know how the hell that went in the net but I'll take it. Nice work. This Deslauriers guy seems a little overmatched.
  5. Yep. Penner's been on a roll lately though.
  6. HAHAHA, Toews is good.
  7. Hawks waived Ebbett. A little surprised, though he's been pretty invisible the last few games.
  8. As Panger called it, "Holy Jumpin'!" Perron just scored the goal of the year. Blues might be getting their act together.
  9. I know it....being a Chicago sports fan I really don't have many opportunities to watch a team I root for completely own another. Hawks are so far inside their heads. Which is great because it's very possible this will be a first-round matchup again.
  10. Jackson (though I'm concerned Warner will light them up early and they'll stop running), Forte and Barber. Now, I'm tired of Jacobs sucking. Should I start Betts over him?
  11. ESPN is saying Bowman may have to move someone now.
  12. I can't say that had crossed my mind. I'd like to know what we have first before we start talking about unloading him. :) But he does have a cap-friendly contract, that's for sure. And it would fit with my suggestion that they unload skill guys here and there to reload the system.
  13. I might just go ahead and say I'll eat my shoe if Maclin doesn't catch a 50+ TD on Sunday night. But those other two are favorable matchups. I think I'd go with Roy and Maclin though. My roster is in flux because I'm trying to hustle Vincent Jackson off a guy, but for now, Ward or Hester? On a side note, I'm trying to unload Benson and Ward for Jackson. The guy just (it appears) lost Turner and I picked up Snelling from under his nose. That's part of the trouble in trying to make this deal cuz he's pissed off at me. If I get Jackson I'll get pretty loaded down the stretch. Would be starting Warner, Chris Johnson, Jacobs (meh), Wayne, Jackson and Gates.
  14. Have fun! Bring home a W. ETA: I think Brad Beal will be in attendance. Hope he likes what he sees. Yeah kusports.com said he would be there. With all the b.s. surrounding Mangino right now, it sure is nice that basketball is up and running.
  15. It's finally here, Hawks-Tigers tonight at Scottrade Center. Only bummer is we have to sit through the Louisville-Arkansas game first. Which we have to because we're going with two Hogs fans.
  16. There are plenty of mid-level salary guys that are expendable. Here's the key though. When the Hawks trade these guys it will likely be for younger NHL players or even prospects. They can't miss on those guys. That's how they stay good for a decade or more. Bowman is going to have to prove himself quickly.
  17. We lost to Oral Roberts in 06-07.
  18. I'll watch. It's not like we can tank enough at this point to get a really good draft pick anyway. So we might as well make things interesting. That said, I'm starting Philadelphia's D on my fantasy squad and feeling pretty good about it.
  19. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entryID=4655239&name=lebrun_pierre duncan keith conspicuously absent A team can only afford a certain amount of 7 million dollar dmen. I actually think with Hossa under contract and coming back, the Hawks may be smarter to push to get Keith done long term and let Kane walk. They are going to have to move Campbell in order to keep Keith and Seabrook. Obviously that needs to be done.
  20. That was a filthy little pass by Toews.
  21. HAHAHAHAHA! HELL YEAH! WINNER!
  22. Nichol was shot out of a cannon. Wow. Before this one I probably would've taken a point. Two would be gravy.
  23. It didn't pay off this time, but I really like how Q puts the energy line out there after icing calls on the opponent. Keep the pressure on, put a few more hits on tired players and good things happen. Smart coaching.
  24. Yep... Sharks are getting away with too many men on the ice, too (according to Pat). These Sharks announcers aren't bad, but I wish I could hear Pat and Eddie tonight. Holy Nabokov! WTF was that pal?
  25. This has been a great game. Lots of chances on both sides, though Huet has been kept out of trouble lately. And that [expletive] guy tackled Fraser. If that's not a penalty, I don't know what is.
