Some good natured booing is about all, I'm sure. I mean, I want the U.S. to win, but if it has to be someone else, I'm glad it will be the Canadians at home. They deserve it. That said, let's get a couple and send 'em home quiet.

Jack Johnson had no business putting that hit on. But I forget who it was, but a Canadian did the EXACT same thing last Sunday, so there better not be a penalty.

Yeah, Canada's d-men are doing a great job of clogging the passing lanes and blocking shots. Wilson needs to get them in there and adapt.

I like it most of the time...I wish the linesmen could make a judgment call and call it if it obvious, but let it go for a touch up if it looks like there may be a play To some degree it discourages "home run" passes, which takes away offensive chances.

I didn't realize the Hawks play on Long Island on Tuesday night and then right back at home on Wednesda. Keith, Seabrook, Toews and Kane are going to be exhausted by then. At least the Wednesday game is against Edmonton.

My wife and her friends, the closest thing I know to figure skating fans, thought the same thing. i think nagasu is the favorite for the gold in sochi, though. she honestly skated flawlessly. not that there's anything wrong with that. Yeah, they said that too, that the judges probably didn't feel so bad stiffing Nagasu, especially considering Rochette's situation, because this wasn't Nagasu's last rodeo.

Why hopefully? Hopefully Martz fixes this inept offense, which just happens to include a disappointing TE, and stays for a while. We need Martz/Lovie to succeed more than we do Olsen. If they sign Manu, they'll trade Olsen on draft-day for a much needed pick. But could he pull in anything more than a 3rd?

Our defensemen are much more willing to do that then Slovakia's are. On the flip side though, I wish Buff had made this team. Just park him in front of Luongo. That needs to be Kesler, Brown and Ryan today.
