I said during the game last night that he's useless, but he has been throwing some hits and I guess that's worth something. Versteeg would be just as lost but not bringing any physical aspect to the game. Might as well play Carcillo. Can't believe I just typed that.

Will you indulge me a semi-dumb soccer question? We got tickets to see the US team play in KC in July in a Gold Cup match. Doesn't look like MLS is taking a break for that. Will they pull their best team from the MLS rosters for these matches? And related, how much does the national team care about the Gold Cup?

Yeah, rocket science. Crawford is decent, and of course each year that contract will look better and better. But so many teams have done well NOT committing huge money to goaltending. Has to make you wonder both whether he should be moved, and whether anyone would take him. Tallon probably would if he didn't have Bobby.
