I think what the national announcers are saying is true. Teams are playing without close adherence to systems due to lack of practice, so there's more scoring. That's good for us because almost no teams have more raw talent.

Yeah two straight textbook kills. Yes, that's something that obviously we would like to see much more of. No doubt. The biggest factor tonight has been the passing. Just dead-on perfect in the offensive zone and pretty sound on D. Roszival is slower than I remembered but he seems solid enough in his own zone.

One more early in the period and I'd bet it happens. Although he's gotten smoked by some of the most gifted offensive players in the league. Not much of this has been his fault. All that said I still want him to skate off hanging his head in shame.

@ChrisKuc: Johnny Oduya is having a nice game for the #Blackhawks. Effective at both ends. I was just thinking the same, though in my mind it was "I haven't noticed him so he must not be screwing up."

I really want to blame Emery for that one. Was a tough deflection though. That said, this team is going to win a lot of 2-1 or 3-2 games. Will need 4 to win most nights.
