  1. One day we'll see one of those trades. One day.
  2. I want to cheer so loudly after watching that.
  3. Probably not; he's just a body.
  4. Ah well, they did indeed end up sucking all night. Congratulations on getting what you wanted, gscool.
  5. Man, this is not Jimmy's night. Yeeeesh.
  6. Twelve. Don't counter meatballing with meatballing.
  7. Alright, maybe I made him mad.
  8. Well, Rose WAS shooting better in the first half, but now he seems to have caught whatever the other starters have.
  9. You were saying? Oh, is the game over? Whoops, nope, it's halftime. The starters are playing like butt tonight. I would, however, still like them to win.
  10. 3 whole quarters to make up a 17 point deficit. WHAT AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK.
  11. *Checks scores* It's 1:47 to go in the 1st quarter.

  13. That's not true based on what we heard today. Phillips role is unchanged. http://thequizmasters.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/tumblr_ljtj6fiAjk1qejjw5o1_500.gif
  14. I suddenly regret my decision to move a whole lot less.
  15. Like how Trestman had the most detailed plan out of all the coaching candidates? Week by week schedule for the next year or whatever. That doesn't sound big picture at all.
  16. Yes. No. The OL could use some improving, but improving the defense and special teams are much more of a priority.
  17. Because they were drunk.
  18. Kevin Brown was the weird one for me. He's Curt Schilling minus the bloody sock. Brown had a 5 year stretch (96-00) where he won 82 games with a 164 ERA+, 2.51 ERA, and 1.051 WHIP. Pretty sure that is better than any stretch Schilling had. Steroids rule. FTFY
  19. I don't know if it's so much "do it the way the Cubs did it" as much as it is "do it without Cutler and Marshall because I don't like them". It's kind of hilarious that he wants to do away with two positions that the Bears actually have talent at. No, it's definitely the Cubs thing. Bernstein is a walking doom boner; he should not be listened to. I don't know about that. He's been a huge, huge supporter of the Cubs rebuild process. But when he turns on something, there's no swaying him back. He loves it because he's a miserable sad sack and is convinced that the way they've gone has been the "right/only" way. He dresses it up with some mildly advanced stat and prospect talk, but it's still the typical "we must suffer to be truly good" garbage too many Chicago fans lap up.
  20. Guys, that board led me to this: http://brees-stats.com/index.php Why does that site exist?

  22. Have some goddam taste; this oaf looks like he's constantly pumped about the [expletive] Catalina Wine Mixer. Hoyer, meanwhile, hosts yet another press conference about living with extreme handsomeness: http://www.trbimg.com/img-5045e01c/turbine/chi-cubs-gm-jed-hoyer-pays-211m-for-lincoln-pa-001/600
