The ones where people have had the same picture of their kid for years and years makes me think that they kinda don't like the monster (and they all become monsters; teenagers are the worst) their kid became and that old, old picture is the one bit of solace they have for the good old days.

Or: if people are going to be lazy then mods should have the power to give them appropriate avatars. And they (the staff) need to be more on the ball with the status/title thingies under the avatars. What I'm saying is make me in charge of decorating around here.

Alright, I know some of you choades inexplicably have these features switched off, but even more inexplicably actually have sig pics and avatars despite switching them off. I'm sick of looking at the same ones over and over again; turn it on for a [expletive] minute or two and update them. Some of you only have dead links and X's and no hotlinking messages, for God's sake. And really, just leave them on. I can't imagine the torture of trying to differentiate a Derwood from a TruffleShuffle from their posts alone.

FWIW I just gave him a heart. Also, totally forgot about A New Era. Aesthetically speaking, his sig may be the worst thing in the history of the world. I thought he was banned, but apparently he logged in a little over a month ago; I love that his last posts are threatening to kick imb's ass for making a fake Castro traded to the Braves thread. I seem to recall his previous sig being about how Piniella was bringing "a new era" to the Cubs.

I love that the only relevant result when searching for "Cliff Floyd pirates parrot" on Google brings back an old NSBB thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=40432 The guy that posted it to YouTube got banned from YT for his heroism.

It wasn't a big moment or anything, but it's one of my favorite all time as a Cubs fan. I wish the clip was online because Len & Bob cracking up over the parrot on the replay was fantastic.
