Considering they have to win both games anyway, it would be foolish of them to do so. Why? He didn't pitch much in his first start; get the series back to St. Louis and hope Lynn can fare better there. Doesn't seem all that unrealistic. If they're throwing Lynn in Game 5 then it especially doesn't make sense for Lackey to go in Game 4. They'd need both games, it doesn't make sense to throw Lackey on short rest when the other guy pitches anyway(and against the better opponent SP in Lester). More likely, Lackey in Game 4 means Garcia on normal rest in Game 5. Then it's a matter of whether the upgrade from Lynn to short-rest Lackey is greater than the downgrade from Lackey to Garcia. Garcia or Lynn; either way, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Lackey in game 4.
