nah, seeing the Rockets vs. Cavs would've been good especially with a gimpy Paul I wouldn't have minded that just because LeBron probably would have won that series, but the astronomical long shot of him inexplicably beating Warriors with this monstrous Cavs team is too good to pass up. Most relatively realistic minor "upset" scenario for me is the Warriors go up 3-0, and then I want some herculean LeBron heroics to drag it to 3-2, putting the fear into the Warriors. Then game 6 is this bonkers back and forth and the Warriors just barely pull it off.

Literally no other possible narrative this year besides the greatest player of all time singlehandedly taking on the Warriors is any good, you dorks. Nobody gives a horsefeathers about the Celtics or the Pacers or the Rockets except for shut-ins and maniacs. Yeah, the Cavs are almost certainly gonna get killed, but at least we'll probably get one amazing LeBron game, which is infinitely better than watching the nobody Raptors kind of sorta exist as a real team.

Who is saying Rizzo should get hit? Maybe I missed someone, but it seems like all the comments here along those lines are people saying, "welp, he's gonna get beaned for that," like it's a stupid thing that's just going to happen, but not that they WANT it to happen.

Not you, too. Something evil lives in Chatwood and Wilson, and they need to be cast out. Let the record show that i have always been a Chatwood skeptic. Wilson though, decent odds he’s a dime store version of Edwards going forward, which is fine for his role as 6th most trusted reliever. Man, I just do not trust him at all. Even when he's not a catastrophe it looks like he has zero clue where the ball is going once it leaves his hand.

Sham luck. His BB/9 is a ghastly 7.65. His GB% is 32.6%. His WHIP is 1.5. His FIP is 4.65; his xFIP is horsefeathers' 4.95. His ass has been saved by managing to strand guys so far at a rate that he is very, very unlikely to sustain. Do not trust this monster. 11 walks in his first 9 outings, 6 in his last 13 appearances. 1.59/2.76 ERA/FIP in that latter stretch. Not you, too. Something evil lives in Chatwood and Wilson, and they need to be cast out. His xFIP is still 4.44 in that stretch, and he's riding that .208 BABiP HARD.

sliding into someone's plant leg when they aren't looking is pretty dirty Not his plant leg I never thought it should be overturned based on the technicality of the rules, but come on; anyone who sits here and acts like that was totally clean is full of it. They got away with it because it was within the latter of the law, but we'd be horsefeathering furious if that happened to the Cubs.
