    This is a cubs message board & last I checked, fuko played for the cub. The question was raised about fuko being a disappointment. It was then brought up about his batting slot. His obp being well over .400 screams that of leadoff hitter. Another pointed out a more productive offense through stats backing. Sorry, you are out of line on this one. Why can't he hit #2 behind Soriano? Then he's still batting in front of Lee and Ramirez and he provides more of a power threat and is much better at your beloved stolen bases than Theriot.

    Having basically no power off the bench has sucked. Not saying it's needed, but the option is nice. Hoff and Ward both available for PH roles should be beast.

    Len's Brickhouse-style call was fantastic. He should totally bring it back fulltime.

    he wasn't rubbing the ball on his wrist sorry I didn't explain it well. He was using his free hand to wipe sweat off his wrist then spreading it on the ball. Putting any substance purposefully on the ball to have an advantage other than rosin (the reason for rosin is to prevent people's hand sweat from getting on the ball) is illegal. I don't think anyone noticed and he could only do it during a mound visit so its not a big deal just worth noting. What if a guy has really sweaty hands? Is wrist sweat somehow magically more useful than hand sweat?
