  1. Why? He didn't sign these guys. You can only do so much with trash.
  2. I wonder why Hendry loves this guy so much? Guilt.
  3. Why was Fox even in there in the first place? Yeah, they're down 3, but come on. There are some signs of life. Marmol, Heilman ad Guzman are all much better options. I know the bullpen has huge issues, but Lou is bullpen [expletive] even if he has a good one.
  4. More on Lou than anyone else. He clearly was pulling a "that'll learn 'em" tantrum. he should have a tantrum about his bad managing. if he'd started the inning with guzman or heilman, the result might have been different. it's a one run game and your starter has thrown 115 pitches, you go to one of your better relievers. you don't leave your starter in to face the top of the lineup and then put in the dregs of the bullpen. I definitely agree. Lou's actions last inning pitching-wise are inexcusable. If he doesn't get sand up his verginer the Cubs are probably down 1-2 right now or even tied.
  5. More on Lou than anyone else. He clearly was pulling a "that'll learn 'em" tantrum.
  6. It's been Patton for a while now. Damn your sneaky edit.
  7. Sadly, I'd take Kendall over Soto at this point.
  8. "Too?" Theriot is not a very good defensive SS.
  9. Pretty much. He's not going to do anything until he drops 20-30 pounds.
  10. This is the game right here. They need to at least tie it right now.
  11. The goofy eyes don't help. They automatically make him look terrified to be out there.
  12. Do you not watch any other baseball at all? Yes and I bet you that was the first or second time it's happened all year. Meanwhile 6 K's for Dempster. On pace for 27. There have been 60 passed balls and probably 3 times that many wild pitches this year. You think none or one of those has happened on a third strike? NOPE ONLY COBS LULZ
  13. This team was not clutch with one of the best clutch hitters in baseball in the lineup. Now we lose him for more than a month. It's not going to be pretty. Guess you busybodies are just too on the go to check some stats.
  14. Holy [expletive], Kendall got clobbered by that broken bat.
  15. That really wasn't Soto's fault. Braun stole that base on the 3b, who was playing too far away from the bag. Scales could have been positioned better, but Soto's throw was rather crappy. Both of the Brewers' runs scored due to awful throws.
  16. I'll take an empty Freel over Miles. And then Scales over Miles. In short, no Miles unless someone drops dead.
  17. I really don't mind Lee getting as much time off as possile. Even though he's obviously not the Lee of old, you want to get some kind of production out of him and rushing him back with the neck issues is not going to help at all in that regard. So long as you've got Hoff, sit Lee until he's as close to 100% as possible.
