Hey now. I didn't say it was the worst thing ever, just that it isn't something that can just be let go. I think that maybe a few people here are just rationalizing having done it. I haven't done it, nor would I do it, but I don't just automatically ditch friends who have cheated and I certainly don't see why a ballplayer doing it changes anything. I agree with that. I would never ditch a friend over it unless they did it in a singularly horrendous manner. I just disagree with the notion that it is something we should just accept as natural. By the time you are an adult (30's), you should have a good idea as to whether you are capable of being monogamous. If you aren't, don't get into a committed relationship, it's as simple as that. I don't think it's "natural" per se, but I get why it often happens. I guess I'm more surprised at seemingly how many people seem to be let down by Carlo's maybe cheating on his wife. Personally, I'm actually surprised when I find out a young player is married in the first place as oppose to finding out one sleeps around or cheats. I just assume any of them are still single and reaping the benefits of their career, or if they're married I just assume they are or have gotten some on the side.
