    Well, this is the Cubs we're talking about. We all know any injury concerns become magnified by about 50x when you join the Cubs. Do you seriously buy into this "only the Cubs" garbage that you spout basically every game? Do you seriously buy into this "I have to police any posts or posters that I disagree with" garbage you do in every thread? It's not policing. You post these things on a public forum where people read them and can respond...if you don't want people to respond, don't post them. Game after game you bring up things like bad signings and bad trades and injuries and bad calls and almost without fail talk like you're convinced that these things plague the Cubs more than any other team or that they're unusual occurances that few teams have to deal with.

    while my cable provider just added WGN HD, the cubs not being on WGN wouldn't bother for the already mentioned lack of aired games if there is more holla dollas elsewhere, GO GET IT Especially if those added dollars go toward additional payroll. Exactly. If the Cubs could get a YES Network-type setup going, that would almost singlehandedly handle any payroll issues. Granted, the audience wouldn't be as large given the population differences between New York and Chicago, but still, it would be a beast.

    He's been booed there already. You seriously think he or anyone else on this team is likely to do anything like singlehandedly leave 10 guys on base again? He's not too likely to have too many 0-6 games, especially ones where that happens.

Im just saying, Cubs fans were called racist for boing Hawkins and Jacuq out of town, but Ive seen a lot of white players booed equally. Were we anti semitic for boing Jason Marquis? Were we anti canadian for booing Dempster when he was blowing saves? Why don't we slow down and wait until someone else is actually "booed out of town?"

    Seems pretty stupid to sit a guy who needs to get his timing back because he sat out a bunch of games. I mean, yeah, it's very frustrating to see that, but he did it in a game where the Cubs are up 7-0. It's a gimme. Better today than if he's actually needed.
