This whole debacle really should be a fireable offense for Hendry. No kidding. Let's throw a ton of cash at a guy who has had one good year who is a known cancer and who has only played more than 101 games TWICE in his 10 year career. What's the worst that could happen? If they had held onto DeRosa (and Adam Dunn hadn't also been available) it would have been a decent gamble.

Its hard telling when Geo smoked it for one, and for 2, where does Geo spend his offseason? It could be legal there. Lastly, who cares. Yeah. Why would we be upset that he was smoking weed and devouring cases of Cheetos instead of preparing for the season? He's playing just fine, right? He's actually playing very well lately. You really think pot = baseball decline? Everyone's been crying about how fat he is this year, right? It's not a stretch to think that his weight issues could be related to smoking weed. I'm inclined more to think it has to do with him always being big.
