Ah, c'mon man, I think he's referring more to the pixie dust of guys like Piniero or Ludwick. I'm referring to people hitting over .600 for over a week at a time. What about Aramis and Soriano being as torrid as they have been since the break? Not .600 each but combined they're kicking the crap out of the world. Aramis definitely is. It's just frustrating, with STL now having three times as many legitimate hitters as they did three weeks ago, it's going to be that much harder to beat them. True, but Holliday and DeRosa obviously won't stay at these levels. They're be useful and good hitters, but they can't keep this out. Soriano and Aramis won't stay at their levels but even just regressing to their expected levels I think still gives the Cubs the clear advantage.
