  1. Don't get what? Marlin scrub relievers striking out Lee and then Ramirez on 3 pitches while everyone in the Marlins lineup can shoot a 2 out hit through the infield. That's baseball, son.
  2. That marlin with an afro will haunt my nightmares.
  3. Holy [expletive], Lee has gotten two huge breaks in this AB. Please take advantage.
  4. My God, Lou is a monster when it comes to the bullpen. How much did he have to see?
  5. Is there anyone warming up in the pen? Is Lou [expletive]? Shark clearly has nothing.
  6. Dammit, ump, he's having enough trouble as it is. Don't need to be a dick and pile on.
  7. Just get through this inning and go to the Gooz for a couple.
  8. Ah, c'mon man, I think he's referring more to the pixie dust of guys like Piniero or Ludwick. I'm referring to people hitting over .600 for over a week at a time. What about Aramis and Soriano being as torrid as they have been since the break? Not .600 each but combined they're kicking the crap out of the world. Aramis definitely is. It's just frustrating, with STL now having three times as many legitimate hitters as they did three weeks ago, it's going to be that much harder to beat them. True, but Holliday and DeRosa obviously won't stay at these levels. They're be useful and good hitters, but they can't keep this out. Soriano and Aramis won't stay at their levels but even just regressing to their expected levels I think still gives the Cubs the clear advantage.

  10. Ah, c'mon man, I think he's referring more to the pixie dust of guys like Piniero or Ludwick. Oh, THAT stuff is is frustrating as hell, but getting worked up over a good hitter having a hot streak fresh off a trade doesn't really speak much to "pixie dust."
  11. Who cares? If we play like we're supposed to have been playing all year, we're golden. I'm so tired of everything they try ending up all golden for them. You know what?...touché. But in reality, it's just an excellent coaching staff down there. I would call our coaching staff (Trammell, Joshua) pretty good and I don't see any of our guys going ape [expletive]. Yeah, no Cubs players have been going on offensive tears the last couple of weeks. Absolutely none. Zip, zilch, nada.
