    Nobody identified what they had. There's plenty to slam Hendry over, but expecting to somehow magically know that McGehee would have any type of sustained success in the majors based on what he had shown up until he was claimed is absurd.

    He doubled and scored the only run of the game literally a half hour ago. And hes 3 for his last 6...HE HAS NO CLUE WHAT HES DOING! Ok lets think outside the frame of the 3 out of last 6 and just overall.. Overall he was an essential part of this team 2 of the last 3 seasons. They have to see if he can produce because they're fucked if he can't.

    I'm not surprised Tracy isn't out there because he's looked REALLY bad so far. Yeah, very small sample size and it's early, but this team is trying to already right the ship.

    I didn't bring up Rose's intelligence, somebody else said he was too smart to crash a motorcycle and end his career. I'm well aware that it has nothing to do with on-court performance, one of the reasons Garnett went pro out of high school was because he couldn't qualify. Being able to "pass" the ACT or SAT is hardly an indicator of whether someone is smart or not.

    Thome has been willing to accept a part time role. There were offers for Dye, including from the Cubs, but not as a full time starter.
