  1. I agree with that; I'm frustrated with the Rose camp this season, but that's just pure meatballery. That said, generally question why people would be annoyed with him is just willfully putting blinders on.
  2. Holy Hell, are you not reading what I'm posting? Yes, tell me if rose is done as an elite player. What moves can they make to save this team? Nothing. But it's not just a question of whether he's only elite or not.
  3. Holy Hell, are you not reading what I'm posting?
  4. Why? He's choosing to sit out while his brother is talking like he's doing so because they don't think the team is worthy of Rose while they're out there playing their guts out game after game. It's tedious and he's effectively strung the team along on this.
  5. The main thing he had "issues" with were an in-game collision and the line-drive. That was then exacerbated by managerial misuse. Those issues spiral off into additional injuries based on attempts to adjust because of the major injuries. Which is all redundant in this case since we're talking about a pitcher's precise mechanics vs. a basketball player. True, I still argue though people are getting ridiculous over this. They're not beating the heat anyways. I [expletive] hate the 'not beating the Heat anyway' thing. First of all, no one's beating them next year either, so I guess he should just sit that out too. Second of all, even though he's probably superhuman and incapable of injury, the fact is the Heat are one LeBron injury away from this thing being wide open. It's ridiculous to just surrender. A full year yes, but they haven't been at full health all year and are all banged up anyways. Thus, I'd punt this year and go get ready for next year. ONCE AGAIN, you're actually hampering their chances next year because you're just pushing back his actual in-game rehab and you're impacting what moves the Bulls should make in the offseason since they don't know for sure what he can do.
  6. Because his brother is the archetypal dbag family hanger-on that's influencing his quiet, dim brother for some stupid reason. Listen, I'm all for hating Reggie Rose, but what does he gain from this? They seem to think they'd be forcing the Bulls' hand to build a different team. Michael Jordan couldn't do that with Jerry. What makes the Rose's think they could? Because they know everyone is seeing the success the Heat is having and they want the Bulls to pull off something similar.
  7. So then no, you didn't play at a world class level. So you don't know how this will effect a guy playing the toughest position in the world against the greatest atheletes. You're scrambling to create pointless straw men while just reiterating over and over again why sitting could easily just end up hurting him and the team because he's not actually rehabbing.

They're not beating the heat anyways. How are people getting ridiculous? Nobody here is talking like he was going to come back and they'd march to the Finals. Most were expecting he'd take a while to work up even be able to manage full game-load, much less leading the team to anything.
  9. Wait, you think his ACL is potentially still "hurt?" I think that the ACL is ok, but I think he might still not be healthy enough to play. I don't know, I've never had that injury. I think there is a chance he could be a different player when he gets back. As a soccer player who's dealt with #nee injuries several times, I can say that coming back from an ACL/MCL injury is not that big of a deal, provided none of the other ligs around the knee were ruptured and you rehab it properly, and you're young. Rose had a simple tear, has access to the absolute best doctors and rehab facilities and is very young. There's very little reason to think he'd not be able to come back and be pretty much the same player. Did you play at a world class level? Where even the slightest drop could be major? Didn't think so. Again, a ton of people are thinking Rose's style of play/ability could be different when he comes back. It benefits him and the team to find that out sooner rather than later.

I think there is a chance he could be a different player when he gets back. Yes, which is why it would have beneficial to ideally find that out before the offseason. If he was actually hurt the Bulls would have said so. They have nothing to gain by putting an injured Rose on the floor.
  13. Because he's not very bright and he's being influenced too much by "his people."
  14. I have no reason not to take him at his word. This just seems to me to be getting awfully close to the Mark Prior towel jokes. Nothings wrong Mark, the team doctors checked your shoulder. Don't remember Prior ever not playing when he was cleared to. They said many times the doctors saw nothing structurally wrong with his arm, that's all doctors have said about rose and his knee, no? Yeah, man, those damn doctors not predicting he'd take a line drive off of his [expletive] elbow.

  16. I have no reason not to take him at his word. This just seems to me to be getting awfully close to the Mark Prior towel jokes. Nothings wrong Mark, the team doctors checked your shoulder. What word? He hasn't said he's still hurt; just the vague and nebulous "I'll be back when I'm ready." Couple that with how he looks in practice and what the Roses have said about the Bulls I'm surprised anyone actually thinks he's still hurt. He's said when he is 100 percent he's coming back. Yes, it's a stupid, meatball thing to say from a guy who has a history of saying such things. It's a pointless catch-22 since he'll never actually be "100%" until he actually gets back into game shape/rhythm (especially critical given the nature of his injury and style of play since there's a question of how much the latter will have changed)...which he can only do by playing. That's hardly the only option, and it seems very, very, very unlikely. This is a meaningless hypothetical; it's frustration over one of the best players in the game willfully and unnecessarily sitting out the last two months. He's prolonging his own rehab/adjustment period and potentially impacting how the Bulls approach the offseason. The Bulls basically have to make moves assuming/hoping he'll be the same Rose when he comes back.

  18. No idea who this is, but I hope he's right.
  19. Who is your super-secret inside source letting you know that he's still hurt?
  20. Cause then they'll totally beat the heat next round, oh wait.... Why not let rose decide what's best for his career? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/79/M18_Claymore_Mine.jpg
  21. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAH!!! EAT ALL OF THE [expletive], SCUM.
