Hmmm... Single Single Single Single (runner thrown out at the plate) Single (runner thrown out at the plate) Single (runner thrown out at the plate) Sounds about right. That'd be a fun inning to watch. that would be a FC. it's... single x3 batted ball off runner on 3rd in fair territory x3, I think.
Are you Marshall gave up 3 earned runs? I thought it was only 2 You're right How were 2 of the runs unearned? 1 guy reached on an error, and another guy scored with 2 outs (the inning should have been over).
depleted bullpen There's like 12 guys down there. Hardly depleted. none of them are very good, certainly not better than wuertz. we could throw howry and eyre out there and then blow the game later i guess.
why are people saying he's done because of TJS? pitchers come back from it all the time. it's frustrating sure but he's not done because of this setback. if it was another serious rotator cuff/labrum injury, sure...but he could come back from this and be effective still.
his numbers are supported by a hot start. since june, and aside from a power surge to start this month, he's been pretty bad. 681 OPS and a 308 OBP since the break. i would much rather have murton than harris now and going forward.
Nick DiPaolo is maybe the worst comedian ever. the guy is awful. bromedian is a terrific description of dane cook though. i bet he chills with his bros and natty light on the weekends. probably plays some gamecube (OR GC I BET HE CALLS IT GC) while he chillaxes. on a sidenote, everyone should go to youtube and watch the "bro rape" video by derrickcomedy. it's terrific.
i would love a vegas nl team. i wouldn't have to travel 6 hours to see cubs baseball! just put them in the central for some inexplicable reason and i'd be ecstatic.
I hope Cliff's random power surge can go one more night I don't understand why people are surprised that Floyd is hitting home runs. He's done it his entire career when he hasn't been on the DL. um, because he's been pitiful all year in regards to power?
Gonzalez gets an incomplete for this season. His team has gone way under expectations, but his pitching staff was decimated as well which means that he hasn't really heard the criticism yet. his expectations were high because of the marlins pitchers being fluky good last year and then predictably coming back to earth/getting injured this year. i can't blame fredi gonzalez for the pitching woes when joe girardi may be partially at fault for the injury issues this year. Especially with Anibal Sanchez who pitched like 80 innings more than his previous professional high.
