Hes out about 5 weeks in my estimation. Then will probably start to work his way back. We don't see Soriano in the Cubs uni for 7 weeks imo. EDIT: ESPN just said 6 weeks. -

Obviously losing Soriano sucks, however our team has proven we can win without him, and being that we're playing so well......IF Soriano needs to hit the DL, he'll get rest and be fresher for the end of the season playoff push.

probably when he no longer leads all Cubs OF's in HR and RBI Zing. Bottom line is even if the Cubs made a wrong decision on Pie or Rich Hill.......both of those players need to showcase themselves yet again, and put up numbers and get past the negativity and mental collapse they're currently going thru. Even though it sucks they were demoted, it's going to make them better players in the long run imo if they could be positive and show the Cubs made a mistake.
