What did you expect a no-hitter? It's his first game back. Relax. Well, if he was ready to come back I would expect a little more than that, but I was just talking in generalities of how bad this team is. As usual the Messiah has a high pitchcount early in the game and is getting battered around this is Kerry's MO. He will probably settle down but he always seems to have one or two bad innings early in games. Career ERA of 3.67, ERA+ of 116. Obviously he doesn't always have one or two bad innings a game. It's his first game back. Everybody warned that he would not be perfect, he's shown signs of dominance, but can't be expected to be 100% right now. If he shows no signs of improvement in the coming games then you can start complaining, but this isn't that big of a deal. he wont be 100% because he'll be on the DL again in 3 weeks. Seriously, I'll be shocked if he doesn't leave this game complaining of soreness somewhere.

Cedeno's batting 315 w/ OBP of 340ish I'll take .300/.400 over .315/.340. That being said I'm very happy with Cedeno. I'm sure we could have worked out a configuration that would have allowed Nomar to stay. Say for a platoon with Jockstrap or somewhere else on the field. Who would you prefer as your utility guy - Hairston, Neifi, or Nomar? is that a rhetorical question?

you're right, he just never got a chance to prove himself in that type of situation...now that's completely ridiculous what the hell are you even talking about now? prove himself in what type of situation? What did you say is "ridiculous"? Are we not talking about Clinton having no guts, balls, conviction, etc? You stated that that is ridiculous and I'm simply saying he had every chance in the world to prove otherwise, buuuuut he didn't. -

You don't wanna know what I think about when I see the name Bush. *cough* my sig *cough**cough* Speaking of which, I've decided after a lot of passing by your sig in threads that the girl on the right just edges out the girl on the left. Barely. Ole Miss girls are tops. There are beauties on every corner. I think it's pretty damn cool Bush will be throwing out the first pitch. I like the guy. At least he's got a sac....especially compared to his predecessor. -
