  1. technically beebe said that, not delaney. and beebe is [expletive], so im not sure how much validity that comment has coming from him. could be absolutely true, i just think beebe is oblivious to everything happening.
  2. maybe chip brown has good information. but man it is annoying to listen to this texas schmuck everyday. i have no idea, but i hope its purple book cat.
  3. yep, its awesome watching your conference break up knowing youre fucked. boy this is great. i just want this to be over, either way. if mizzou is going to the mountain west, so be it. just get this [expletive] over with.
  4. yep. beyond dumb.
  5. Mizzou beat writer, doesnt make up rumors, just posted this: Dave_MatterAfter Big Ten announces Nebraska tomorrow, I'm told strong chance that Rutgers next in line to become No 13
  6. looking worse and worse for mizzou by the minute. mizzou is at the mercy of the big 10 right now, and its not looking good for us.
  7. ugh, i just looked at the hawks roster and realized that, at the ripe age of 25, im older than most of the hawks key contributors. i guess thats actually a good thing for the hawks, but man, i cant believe guys like brouwer and ladd are 24 years old only.
  8. good post. i thought itd be relevant since that was the only time i went to the pony. i didnt say jack to him, i just thought it was cool to see him out. anyways yay hawks.
  9. i heard the helicoptors this morning too, but i didnt know what it was at first. then i turned on wgn and i saw them over the pony. i drove by there on my way to 90/94 and i was hoping to see something as i passed by, but all i saw was about 50-100 people on the street around pony. i also saw hinrich up there one time. actually my sister did. she said he went into the bathroom, and of course i called [expletive]. i walked into the bathroom and sure enough it was him. thats my random story from the pony.
  10. anyone who wants to trust chip brown, please look at this link: http://www.tigerboard.com/boards/missouri-tigers.php?message=7638876
  11. the texas coaches and the whole state of texas is full of [expletive]. i hope they burn to the ground.
  12. why does some schmuck from orangebloods have the inside scoop on everything?
  13. mizzou averaged 64,120 last year while ku averaged 50,581.
  14. Me too His feeling is new, you've had your jealousy for a while now. As for Mizzou, there's probably a lot more scenarios that don't leave them in the cold than those that do. If the Pac-10 grabs those 6, then the Big 10 pretty much has to jump to at least 14, making it pretty unlikely Mizzou doesn't get invited. We've already seen scenarios with Mizzou and Texas going to the Big 10. If the Big 10 goes to 14 or 16 with Texas and without Mizzou, the Pac-10 might look Mizzou's way. Basically, the worst case in any scenario is that the Big 10 offers 3-5 teams and Mizzou isn't one of them. Given everything that's been said so far, I don't think that's highly probable. Worrisome that there's a chance that it could happen, but I'm not pessimistic about it. This is true. If the Pac 10 goes the 16, I can't see the Big 10 and SEC not expanding either, and probably to 16 team leagues. And then the ACC and Big East combine, thus leading to the four super conferences. In that scenario I don't see Mizzou being left out, but I am really hoping to join the Big Ten.
  15. everybody wants texas...ugh. im starting to get a really bad feeling about mizzou.
  16. if any city deserves it, its boston. man i hope it happens.
  17. I don't see the Cavs going for Deng for LeBron unless a no. 1 pick or two changes hands too. But holy hell would that be amazing. Fine Deng plus our 1st rounder this year, for Lebron and we sign Bosh. hell give them the bulls first round pick for the next 5 years if they want it.
  18. oh good lord... trying not to get excited, trying not to get excited... If GarPax lands LBJ and Bosh (Wade would be great, but redundant) this summer, I think I might go on a 5 day drinking binge. screw that. id be partying every night until the bulls first game.
  19. oh good lord... trying not to get excited, trying not to get excited...
  20. Considering my mom is from MO, and pretty much her entire family still lives there, I think I have as much right to make fun as anyone. Don't worry, I think much more highly of those from Misery than I do of those from Minnesota. Besides, they did back out of a 4 game deal with Iowa at the last second. Less than 6 months before the first of those, IIRC. if you wanna make fun of people from missouri, try and be a little more creative than misery. it makes you look like a 10 year old.
  21. nope. not only that, but they only backed out of the first two. iowa dropped the last two. AND, perhaps the craziest thing yet, only the athletic department had anything to do with it. not missouri fans. but, maybe if he keeps bitching about it, we can go back in time and change the outcome.
  22. bringing out the misery insult, huh? i dont know how to respond to such devastating insults.
  23. so essentially what people in this thread are saying is that the bulls are the only team with this problem because Jordan is the only all time great the bulls have ever had? interesting.
  24. couldnt have said it any better myself. by the way, i bet mike aller would take mo williams over both rondo and rose.
