  1. I think its about time Missouri wins a big game. The thing I envy about Northwesterns program is that every now and then they'll pull a big upset. Now, winning in Lincoln probably wouldn't be a huge upset, but it still would be for Mizzou. It's time for them to take the next step. That being said, I bet Nebraska wins by 10.
  2. It's been said many times, but this really feels like the media and the Cubs are trying to soften up the fans for when Ramirez leaves. Not a good sign.
  3. 1 down, 72 to go.
  4. This is awesome.
  5. Yeah, especially when you can't win every game by 30+ points.
  6. Kim Jong Il Likes The Bulls Though it's not part of the NBA's advertising campaign, it's widely known around the league office that North Korean leader Kim Jong Il is an avid NBA fan with a preference for the Bulls. His sons have been spotted wearing Bulls jerseys on their regulation courts at the presidential palace. -- Chicago Tribune Ugh, thats unfortunate.
  7. What a jagbag. I hope the Bears don't let up on the Packers on the last game of the season now.
  8. Well, unfortunately for the Cubs I'm with you on this one. Losing Ramirez basically crushes any momentum the Cubs could have had going into the offseason. Hendry better get this done, or he's looking at a huge backlash from Cubs fans.
  9. That is exciting. Good job Paxson and Hinrich. Go Bulls!
  10. Does anyone have ESPN Insider? Why does it say King Jong Il is a Bulls fan?
  11. Winner likely gets the opportunity to get killed by Texas in the Big XII title game? Nebraska had Texas all but beat last week. Mizzou went to Tech and handled them on their homecoming while Texas needed a big comeback to beat them in a rivalry game. On the other hand, Texas did handle OU while Mizzou lost to them at home. Add in the fact that the game is being played in KC, I don't think that either team will get humiliated if they play Texas(who could lose the South if aTm wins their rivalry game). I know Callahan is throwing the ball more, and that's how they beat us, but prior to that game they were really running the ball well. Is Nebraska still doing well on the ground? If so, how does that bode for Mizzou. I know aTm ran it on you guys pretty well. Our run defense is not good. Should be interesting. By the way, Oklahoma's running back Patrick Allen hits the hole as hard as about anyone I've ever seen live. Temple and the rest of Mizzou's running backs should take note.
  12. Hooray the Bears are back! I totally forgot about the time switch, couldnt figure out why NFL Countdown was coming on at 11 oclock. Anyways, I hope Grossman returns to his good form today and the Bears destroy the 49ers.
  13. That would certainly be an interesting matchup. And I'm with you on the Bowl games. Frankly, the more college football I get to watch over Christmas break, the better.
  14. I like this. Hopefully Hendry ponies up the money this year. On another note, has Hendry said anything about resigning Pierre, or is he content to just let him go? I wouldn't complain if he was gonna let him go, I'm just curious if he's even gonna offer him a contract.
  15. Unbelievable. I still can't believe that Coffman dropped that damn pass. That woulda put Mizzou up 10-0 in the first. Instead, next play is a pick on a deflection. Sucked the life out of the stadium. Then, we get to 16-10, get a three and out, but a freakin stupid, crappy, just unbelievable roughing hte kicker penalty. Instead of first and ten Tigers at our own 45, its first and ten OU. THAT play killed us. Unreal. I'm really pissed right now.
  16. Tailgating at 8 is a thing of beauty.
  17. Man that team was loaded. I still can't believe they only won 89 games. Freakin' Cubs. At least I had a reason to watch baseball through September that year.
  18. Well I just got called a racist because I hate the Cardinals. I hate the Cardinals so much. F this team times a million. I hate the cardinals so much. I'd rather have Kansas win the National Championship in football, basketball and baseball than the a-hole Cardinals win the World Series.
  19. Interesting. Definitely supports the "Gold Rush" theme this week. I love the gold pants, but I've never seen the gold jersey tops, I'm excited. This has the potential to be amazing. Is it Saturday yet? Ahhh I cant wait.
  20. I dont know what Hendry would have to give up, but this would be a fantastic starting point to the offseason, in my opinion.
  21. Yeah I'm excited. People around here are saying it's the biggest game for Mizzou in 25 years, just based on Oklahoma being Oklahoma and Missouri sucking for most of the past 25 years. Hopefully we get close to a sellout. I wanna see a lot of gold out there Saturday. Only thing I'm pissed about is the 11 a.m. start. I hate these early games. We always get screwed with em. Oh well, go Tigers!
  22. If Mizzou had beaten aTm there is no way Gameday would have passed you guys up. Yeah, it's depressing knowing Mizzou shoulda won that game. Maybe next year...
  23. Well, Gameday is gonna go to Columbia, South Carolina this week for some reason for Tennessee at South Carolina. Not sure if I understand why they're going there. South Carolina has a tendency to choke away big night games at home over the last several years. Plus they're unranked. I just wonder if maybe they would have come to Mizzou if Peterson were playing and/or we had beaten aTm.
  24. My goodness that was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too close for liking.
  25. Stop the bleeding!
