  1. The Illini are ranked 8th? I've been completely checked out on them for a couple years. Are they back, back or is this kind of getting lucky with graduations?
  2. it’s ok to get the first down on second down matt
  3. this is as laboring and incompetent as any of the utter trash QBs we have trotted our the last few decades
  4. would love to know what the motive for that was
  5. Our defense isn’t set at the snap the whole game meanwhile the rams defense are pinning their ears back seems like a coaching fail
  6. same old horsefeathers
  7. i ended up trading ceedee for melvin gordon instead
  8. Help me with this trade: Michael Thomas for Miles Sanders and Michael Gallup Current Roster: QB: Kyler RB1: Conner RB2: Nyheim Hines WR1: Allen Robinson WR2: Will Fuller TE: Hockenson FLEX: Devante Parker BE: Ceedee Lamb BE: Michael Thomas BE: Hayden Hurst IR: Ekeler Full point PPR. I had Ekeler (was my 2nd round pick) as RB 1/2 until he got hurt which is why Hines is in there doing nothing for me. I like my WR depth and hate my blackhole at RB2 while Ekeler is out. I could roster both Sanders and Gallup without dropping anyone--I feel like I should take it?
  9. when you can't hit meatballs with authority, the pitchers realize they don't have to nibble and they get into a groove i remember when this team could make pitchers feel actual pressure, facing the cubs in the playoffs has to be the easiest thing for a first time postseason pitcher's nerves
  10. I know you are captain pessimist but honestly you are saying what I've been thinking. But I've been known to be pretty pessimistic myself. None of the Marlins players scare me offensively, Yu should be able to mow them down for 7-8 innings. Who knows in Game 3. I'd still much prefer a bullpen style game, but maybe that's what we'd get even if BD John pitches. So there is definitely room for optimism, but at the same time the result of this playoffs could have been a lot worse than feebly getting swept by the Marlins. yu will give up 1 cheap run and we won't score
  11. can someone figure out what we slash in the playoffs as a team in the theo era i feel like hurting myself
  12. yu may have pitched 7 scoreless, because he is better. also doesn't yu starting game 2 mean he wouldn't have been able to start the nlds until game 2? it doesn't really matter, but there was absolutely no reason for it. it's a stupid ass galaxy brain move by ross. if you have a cy young winner and he's rested and healthy, you start him first. None this matters if the Cubs didnt have the absolute worst offense I've ever seen from a playoff team ever. this is how we generally hit in the playoffs though
  13. those pitches weren't even that bad must be nice to have hitters that can occasionally hit tough pitches and feast on the bad ones
  14. happy for Jimmy now please make it a series
  15. well Cohen has a torn ACL so we prolly need to pick up another back
  16. aLl pRoS aT eVERy LeVeL oF tHe D

  18. pagano needs more interesting ideas in 2 minute drills
