  1. thick lower half, yoga instructor since like middle school, he's been trained well in that regard
  2. holding teams to field goals is the best we can hope for i think we need to play a higher variance style in the playoffs
  3. idk but I'm hoping ben has some designed QBs runs that he's been holding back, we haven't really featured it at all (except some sneaks). i think they can be a chain mover for us.
  4. the play action was absolutely bottled up, I think the INT and grounding were both on PA and I don’t recall many chunk plays off of it either, running game has been pretty fringy the last few weeks as well Jaylon Johnson was making a lot of business decisions out there as well
  5. Any word on what the packers are looking like health wise next week? I know they sat everyone today
  6. my bull case for the defense is that I think the defensive back 7 will hold up better in coverage against non shanahan/purdy teams and maybe that flu got around the team more than showed up on the injury report
  7. i'll give DJ a pass this week, he probably shouldn't have been out there and wouldn't have been in zaccheus and rome were good to go (and burden was pretty much a GTD). i'm sure burden being completely gassed by the end of the game was because he had to run every route 150% because dj was half speed all game.
  8. come on man, it was crossbody across the ENTIRE width of the field with pressure rearing down on a do or die play. no QB makes that throw. DJ needed to get back in the play more (which he was sick as a dog so I'm sure he was gassed out)
  9. the first one was a bad miss, the 2nd was to ****** monangai with a DB rearing down on him that wouldn't have gone anywhere even if it were caught. the last one...yeah duvernay was wide open but the pressure was immediately in his face. most QBs take a sack or throw it away way sooner there and only a phil rivers moonball gets to duvernay. i thought the heartburn on that one was pretty absurd.
  10. burden seems to be a much better separator than rome and he's an animal after the catch. rome needs to make more tough/big man type catches.
  11. my other cope is that the flu going around affected a lot more players than ever showed up on the injury report, the defensive line played with no force outside of booker here and there and i think our DBs would've held up in coverage better if they weren't sick. also, caleb hasn't been sacked in the last two games and hasn't turned the the ball over since the last play of the first GB game.
  12. yes i think so. rome is a nice player but has he even been average for a top 10 overall drafted WR? he leaves me wanting more. burden is really explosive.
  13. i think GB is a lot worse than any other team we could play in round 1 so i'd go for the win against detroit. the fact that we haven't had a bye since week 5 is interesting though.
  14. bulls BACK (to .500 and play-in territory)
  15. how are you guys getting ESPN 1000 out of market for bears games? sirius? i was driving during the browns game and was pissed off when i learned espn 1000 defaults to national programming during bears games out of market
  16. on further reflection, lafleur blowing that 3rd and 1 situation in OT is horsefeathers hilarious
  17. BJ I love you but that the training wheels offensive game plan should've bit you in the ass
  18. drop him right on his throwing shoulder
  19. the game should've been in caleb's hands from the beginning
  20. if wind weren't a factor i'd play for OT, GB keeps dropping guys to injury
  21. BJ has been total dog horsefeathers against GB this year
  22. giants were eating up our play action, it didn't really create rhythm and space all game. lots of free rushers. i was saying that it looked like cutler at his best when our offense was in complete shambles and he was out fighting zombie hordes
  23. dart is a good prospect but his play style is injury prone, bears dropped a couple of INTs and the bears receivers were dropping everything that being said they definitely let go of the rope in the 2nd half
  24. bears receivers didn't really drop the easy ones until today when they decided to drop everything
