Yeah there is. Don't take them. He's not a good three point shooter. Pretty simple. I went over this a few weeks ago. If the defense is going to go sag off, go underneath screens, etc. then the right play is for Rose to take the open 3. Of course he has to make them at a reasonable clip for them to be the right play. But he's obviously a better shooter than he's shown this series. Fact is, when he's playing off of Bogans, Brewer, and Deng (to a lesser extent) the defender is always going to take the option of collapsing into the lane (or he's already camping in it) to take away the dribble drive. The Bulls have blown the doors off of teams in the 4th all season because we stick Korver in and he either gets wide open looks or the lane is available for Rose all the way to the hoop. What I don't get is why we don't run the same offense for stretches of the game before the last few minutes. It works! I do agree that Rose forced some looks that weren't there this series. No doubt. But over the course of the year he's really taken about the same amount of 3s as any other legit superstar perimeter scorer and made them at a similar clip Who? list them. LeBron takes about 2 fewer than rose. wade too. kobe is the only one thats close, but he's a chucker and that's not helping him either. rose is shooting like 30% since december. that's atrocious. it would be one thing if he was tkaing like 2-3 a game, but he's not. he's taking like 5-6 every night, and putting up like 8-9 is happening now too.
