    Yeah, the Lakers gave up. Phil checked out mentally weeks/months ago. The question is do they have another run in them? They've basically played 100 game seasons the last 3 years straight. They could probably use a long off season and a way to retool the team around Bynum.

    I know basketball is new to your neck of the woods but a bad perimeter player couldn't even get up 20 realistic attempts (no heaves, 35 footers, etc) every night in the NBA.

    I'm not so sure. Really tough to compare the two since they are polar opposites. But Iverson was a career 41% shooter averaging 6 assists. I'm not a huge fan of Rondo either, but he has a ring. He's a good creator and a good defender. Does Boston win a championship with Iverson instead of Rondo? I'm not so sure. lol, no. I think we can plausibly argue that the 08 Celtics with the 2000 version of AI would've been contenders right? Can you plausibly argue that putting Rondo on the 2000 Sixers instead of AI is a plausible contender? Does that team even win 20 games?
