  1. Yeah, I like when Gibson gets his butt in the post. Good things usually happen. But Boozer is getting paid and has enough good will built up that he'll continue to start. I just want him to humor me and pretend he wants to back a man down for once.
  2. lol Milwaukee outscoring Miami 22-3 in the 4th and have ripped the game wide open
  3. Effort is one thing. Boozer being an overpaid bum and lacking identifiable basketball skills is another. His production in and around the basket has been basically cut in half and he is attempting 2.2 free throws a game. He's a one dimensional mid range jump shooter at this point. It's a very disturbing trend and solutions need to be explored.
  4. This is stupid, meaningless hand waving.
  5. Carlos Boozer is [expletive] worthless.
  6. No Deng and no Rip tonight. I'm not really too scared of them in a best of seven series. I am. This is a team you have to punish inside and on the boards. They're quick as hell out on the perimeter.
  7. Pray we miss Philly in the playoffs. Terrible match up.
  8. Holy [expletive] we're being sodomized. Awful.
  9. Boozer doesn't even pretend to back his man down any more. All he does is reverse pivot and shoot a jumper.
  10. Defense just isn't the same without Deng.
  11. Saw a tweet that said Joel Pryzbilla's agent said he will choose between Miami and Chicago in the coming days.
  12. At least 40 dead after Egyptian soccer riot Yikes.
  13. On the Island of Relentlessly Disagreeable Internet Forum Posters it is. It is empirically correct though.
  14. And yet those offenses were producing outstanding passing numbers long before either player showed up. Those TE didn't make themselves. Right so they are so dominant athletically that they pretty much force their hall of fame QBs to get them the ball. The Patriots offense was was pretty good but it only went into hyper drive when they got uber freaks like Moss and Gronkowski.
  15. Graham and Gronkowski are elite 95th percentile type athletes. None of the wideouts on those teams are.
  16. This one is the closest I've seen with D-Rose's contract included. http://www.hoopsworld.com/chicago-bulls-team-salary Based on that you are - at a minimum - looking at Noah and one of Korver and Brewe, plus a 1st round pick or two (for Howard). Most trade proposals I've seen involve Deng, Noah and Gibson, the rights to Nikola Mirotic and a first round pick (the one we apparently have from the Bobcats or something?). there's pretty much no way this deal happens without howard extending. the bulls will be gutted if orlando insists on turkoglu being included on any deal, and at that point the bulls won't be good enough to compete for a championship this year. i'm actually kind of not wanting howard a little bit. Rose/Rip/Brewer/Boozer/Howard with Watson, Korver, Asik, and Butler off the bench can win a title this year...then throw in JR Smith.
  17. lol @ Cal Shaq Thompson to Washington
  18. jesus h.
  19. And I don't know if you've noticed but Amare has been pretty dreadful this year.
  20. Orlando is not that team though. What? They're not contenders WITH Howard. They trade him and they're in retool mode if not full out rebuild mode. Amare is a terrible, terrible "asset" for any team that isn't on the cusp.
  21. Amare has negative value to a non contending team--one dimensional player with a bad contract and terrible knees.
  22. woop, Zach Banner to USC
  23. The Knicks were gutting a team that wasn't any good to get Melo. The Bulls are gutting a team that won 62 games and aren't giving up its best player in the hypothetical deal. Way different. I could see the Bulls being worse off on winning a title this season if you pull the trigger on a Dwight trade because of all the depth you lose but they'd be set for years if Howard extends.
  24. That's a really convenient position to take considering the odds of Dwight being traded to any one team is way less than 50%.
  25. Maybe but after Bynum what do they have to offer? The Bulls can offer Noah who is slowly showing his all star form again. Not as good as Bynum and less upside but a solid piece. They can also offer Deng who is a borderline all star talent, is a great glue guy and does a lot of things well and is still relatively young. Finally, the one thing LA can't offer is the Bobcats pick we have, which is at worst going to be a top 12 pick, at best a high lottery pick. A very valuable piece to offer considering how far away the Bobcats look to be from contending. One player alone is not going to get the trade done, its doing to be who offers the best package. I don't think the Magic will care if Howard wants to play for the Lakers or not, they will trade him to the Bulls if GarPax is willing to gamble. That's the thing its a gamble. Would the normally conservative Pax be willing to take the biggest risk of his career? There have been small signs that suggest the Bulls are very interested in Howard and have been watching these discussions very closely. I wouldn't be surprised if Pax made the gamble, but I wouldnt be surprised if he didn't as well. If the Bulls were to give up Noah, Deng and Bobcats pick for Howard and he leaves, you have a good amount of cap space and a starting 5 of Rose, Rip, Brewer, Boozer, Asik with Asik, Butler, Watson on the bench. A gutted team no doubt but they would be in a better position than probably 20 of the 30 teams. I don't know the cap implications or whatever but Mirotic is another piece I'm sure the Magic are kicking the tires on.
