  1. Statement from Brandon Marshalls Attorney Harvey Steinberg regarding Club incident: "On March 12,2012 Brandon Marshall was the key note speaker at a charitable event in New York. After the event was over he, his wife and close friends attended a function at a local club. While at the function a fight broke out NOT involving Mr. Marshall or his friends. While attempting to leave to avoid the melee Mrs. Marshall was struck in the face by a thrown bottle. She suffered serious injury. While attempting to leave and take his wife to the hospital, the mayhem continued outside. Finally Mr. Marshall was able to take his wife to the hospital where she was treated for serious injuries. Mr. Marshall is hoping to assist authorities in regards to this matter."
  2. Biggs just tweeted we are probably out of the mix on Mincey as he is reupping with Jax
  3. Ah, I love Miami's "Lebron you go stand in the corner while Wade does the heavy lifting" offense in crunch time.
  4. Not that it's really at all important but I wonder if a team has ever had the kind of arm strength with their starter and backup as the Bears have with Cutler and Campbell.
  5. Here's a picture of Laron Landry: http://www.washingtonpost.com/rf/image_606w/WashingtonPost/Content/Blogs/dc-sports-bog/StandingArt/landrygiant0212.jpg?uuid=yzo4gF5BEeGaOCcdGz7-jw

  7. Like 5 mil I think
  8. yes, they should replace their injury-prone SG with .... eric gordon He can be our Jake Peavy.
  9. You never get that kind of value for S&T.
  10. I actually think Noah and Howard together reaches the point of diminishing returns. Too much paint clogging to let Rose operate. I'd rather have a stretch 4 playing alongside Dwight. Anyway, the theoretical cap space that would be made available if Dwight left is only worth spending on Dwight and I guess Eric Gordon. Deron is the other big FA fish and obviously not a fit. I'd love Gordon to play off of Rose but a Rose, Gordon, Noah core isn't getting it done, IMO.
  11. I'm totally down for splurging on Mario Williams at this point and fixing the WR group via draft and a more mid level FA. Holy [expletive] Peppers and Mario would be awesome.
  12. It'd be more like CP3 and Blake (or even Magic and Kareem) if you ask me. I don't see anyone getting on either of those guys with ridiculous "oh whose team is it really?" discussions. An elite big/little combination gets all the basketball purists aroused. Lebron and Wade's games are too similar.
  13. I dunno. We'd still be able to offer more money than any other team, and if we got deep in the playoffs or even won a championship? It's definitely a risk though. Yes, the pressure to win a title this year would be immense because that's the only way I'd see him staying. The guy just isn't interested in Chicago as a destination for whatever reason.
  14. Howard will walk if we do that deal with no extension in place.
  15. Shooting at a better percentage than DRose Raw FG% is for peasants.
  16. I just think Washington's offer will blow ours out of the water.
  17. http://deadspin.com/5892250/ holy [expletive] [expletive]
  18. Wade just made a ridiculous circus shot to beat Indiana.
