Because Korver is a zero on defense. I'm not overly worried about Korver's defense when Asik and Gibson are in. You need scoring.

Sure. Rose can play off of Nash or some other PG. He's not going to come back right away and run the offense for 38 minutes a night. Finding minutes wouldn't be a problem at all. And yes, a healthy Sessions for a full season isn't more of a question mark than a coming back from torn ACL Rose for who knows how much of the season when you're talking about planning your offseason.

And the Lakers do have Sessions. It's way premature to say they need a PG next season more than the Bulls do. Miami makes a lot of sense of course but pretending you can't make any kind of case for the Bulls is just stupid.

You can easily find enough minutes for a coming-back-from-bad-injury Rose and Nash next season.

You want to be play for a contender. You are old and cannot play heavy minutes. You want players and a coach that can mask your defensive deficiencies. It's not rocket surgery.
