  1. angry, bitter Celtics fan hears the death rattle in his garbage team
  2. You mean paid Shapiro's lawyer for. What a joke the enforcement arm is.
  3. These Blues announcers keep saying "Germilson"
  4. Lol celtics
  5. It'll have legs for awhile but if all it comes down to is "he changed the game plan!" I don't see it becoming very controversial. Looks like Rice is just parroting what Brown said.
  6. I think it's worth the risk to see if the Bobcats will continue to be dreadful and see if that pick gains value.
  7. Nothing like a little Steve Nash on D to get Kirk going on offense
  8. Yeah they're feeling good about stealing a team from the Oklahoma City of California
  9. Feel bad for the Kings fans but they can latch on to the Warriors before they move to SF and become hip.
  10. As long as we can mill around the 2-6 seed range until after the All Star break I'd just as soon as let Deng sit awhile and get healthy while we get closer to Rose's return date. Atlanta just lost Lou Williams for the year. I don't see New York, Indiana, or Brooklyn running away from us in the standings either. Getting Butler more seasoning can't hurt either, maybe Thibs will finally realize he can slot in nicely behind Deng and not have to run him into the ground.
  11. Nice wheels Tom
  12. Not a penalty when it's a running play afaik
  13. That was gruesome
  14. Nice clock managament
  15. Does Kirk have an identifiable basketball skill at this point?
  16. Kurrrrrrrtttttt
  17. Lol at Thibs and Doc screaming over the jump ball.
  18. Glad we wasted 5 minutes of putrid wing play on offense instead of letting Boozer work in the post
  19. Who unearthed Claire Forlani for this Dewar's commercial?
  20. So you're totally behind him if he's both stupid and a liar, but not if he's just a liar. Got it. Hey, if he's in on the whole thing he deserves everything he's got coming. But lying about details of a physical relationship with a girl he thought died of cancer and lying about the girl entirely are a lot different on the scale or moral awfulness. Based on the timeline, he was lying about the nature of their relationship before the whole death thing. Yeah, with the giant assumption that was he was naively duped, only because he was embarrassed that he only knew the girl online and over the phone.

  22. Fabricating details of a physical relationship because you're embarrassed about your e-girlfriend to your parents and probably teammates is quite far removed from being complicit in a massive public relations hoax. You're missing the point - by making up parts of the story and letting that go viral, he was complicit in a massive public relations hoax. He WAS the author of parts of this story. Well yes that would be complicity. Except that the Manti as naively duped theory is predicated on the notion that he didn't know he was being duped until December. Doesn't matter. He was spreading his portion of the lies well before that. If nothing else, he certainly didn't stand up and correct anyone on any details. He went along with everything reported in the media and never corrected them about any of it. In other words, he was complicit in the hoax. There is no path here that leaves him completely innocent and naive. He lied and fabricated part of the story that became famous. It's only how big a liar he is that is in question. Um, I would say it does matter if he really believed that his presumptive girlfriend died of cancer or not.
