And we were able to get him for $305! What a steal! How in the world do you not see the other bills behind that. Could be all $1's, but its more than $305. OK, $315. I'm sure if they were hundreds he would have laid them all out to help him achieve whatever effect he was going for in taking that pic. By all accounts Treadwell is a smart kid with a 3.5 GPA. If he was illegally paid mad stacks of cash I doubt he'd be flaunting it on instagram. More likely is that he was trying to look cool with some cash he had and shortly after either he realized that it could look bad or somebody got to him and told him that it could look bad (because yeah, it does look bad) Treadwell's recruitment is hardly suspicious. His best friend from his hometown is a freshman DB on the team. Treadwell helped his buddy move in last fall and started liking the town and the program and came down for several games and made friends with the players and the coaching stuff, etc. He also became tight with Robert Nkemdiche because of all the camps and all-star games they were at together. Treadwell has been around the program a ton and is close friends with a lot of the guys. It's not some huge surprise that he chose Ole Miss over Oklahoma and Oklahoma St. Come on, it's college sports; do people really assume their favorite program isn't dirty? Only every Illini fan that posts here.
