  1. so poles had it leak to silvy that he hates Warren or at least hates reporting to him? sounds like poles is pushing to get warren removed imo
  2. they've internalized the value of "punting is winning"
  3. see that's why should just throw the ball
  4. cole kmet might be a huge loser
  5. he needs to be completely deprogrammed from seemingly believing that it is never ok to put the ball in harms way
  6. I like Warren saying this will be the most coveted job because it should be (until the lowball budget comes in)
  7. yep, and get saleh to run the defense
  8. it's a shame the celtics were allowed to win a title before the rules were changed (and they will be within the next 3-5 seasons guaranteed) to nerf three point attempts, their "brand" of basketball is truly unwatchable
  9. from what i've read the tackle class is deep but probably not a pro bowl stud at the top and the IOL is pretty thin but i still want to go tackle if we lose out, we might be in a position to trade down a little and pick up campbell or banks at tackle. if we win a couple games we'll probably be comfortable staying put and taking one of those guys.
  10. the jobs that are definitely going to be open: raiders saints jets giants jaguars cowboys bears you figure cam ward and shadeur are going to end up on the raiders and giants and neither will be nearly as highly regarded as caleb. we shouldn't lose a beauty contest to anyone here right?
  11. yes, i think (hope) brown is auditioning to be next year's OC, not next year's HC. i assume that if we hire an OC to be HC they will want to call their own plays but i don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that they are impressed with what brown does the rest of the way and keeps him as the play caller. i also think if the offense looks competent the rest of the way it does expand the pool to defensive guys.
  12. i don't want brown as the head coach either but his pedigree and depth of experience seems a lot better than pierce's was at the time they were named interim HC
  13. this is what the decorum brigade of dying legacy media hacks sound like right now because the bears let flus do that press conference:
  14. I would assume brown is going to still call plays but he will have to come down from the booth?
  15. poles ain’t getting fired unless it’s way worse behind the scenes and George and Warren are on tilt and not because he doesn’t possibly deserve to be but the narrative just isn’t there
  16. I’m actually more interested in a dissection of the second to last play romo said it was a qb draw I’m guessing because of the way it was “blocked” but Caleb wasn’t gearing up to run from the looks of it
  17. don’t forget the punt being downed inside the one with a millimeter of space between the guys heels and the goal line
  18. wouldn’t be surprised to see Williams on the injury report or even concussion protocol this week he was beat up good in this game
  19. https://x.com/clayharbs82/status/1862241869872148727 check borom's draftkings activity
  20. you can absolutely get an inbounds (if necessary) quick hitter for a short gain to put yourself in realistic field goal range and still have enough time to fire drill your kick team out there especially if you have a timeout to talk it over
  21. kmet is making out like a bandit right now because no one will talk about how amazingly dumb those pick play OPIs are
  22. the 3rd and 15 conversion from earlier and that improv play to moore right there is rare stuff
  23. good thing we drafted a project tackle who was hurt to the point WHEN we drafted him that he didn't participate in OTAs or training camp and immediately got hurt within like 10 snaps when he did see the field
  24. this feels like the drive where caleb finally throws a pick im afraid
